Robert E. Lindsay, MD opened Ada Pediatrics over 30 years ago with the intention of creating the best pediatric practice in Boise. He was named the Best Pediatrician in “Best of Treasure Valley” in 2014 and considers himself Boise’s #1 BSU Bronco’s fan!
A native of Northern Indiana and a graduate from Purdue and then Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Bob finished his residency training in Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University. He is board certified in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Ryan Lindsay, DO is happy to run the family business with his dad, Dr. Bob. A native of Boise, Dr. Ryan is a proud alumnus of Boise High, Boise State and Midwestern University/Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is also a trained paramedic! After completing his pediatric training at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2012, he became Board Certified in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and is now a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Ryan has competed in countless running races and triathlons. He’s proud to still hold the Boise Elementary School City Track Meet mile record of 5:20 – set in 1992! He and his wife Laura (an anesthesiologist at St. Luke’s) love raising 3 cute cats named Columbia, Nash, and Winter, and a border collie named Mouse.
Nurse Meghan grew up in La Mesa, CA and moved to Idaho in 2004 with her family. After an under-graduate degree at BSU, she went on to earn an Associates and BSN in Nursing. After many years of working as a CNA in assisted living centers and an RN at a rehabilitation center, she joined Ada Pediatrics in 2012. Nurse Meghan was married in 2010 and welcomed their first little girl into the world in 2013.
Nurse Janet grew up in California and moved here to go to nursing school at Idaho State University. She has been with Ada Pediatrics since 1981! Her number one passion is helping kids and parents stay healthy. With an adoring husband, two married children, 2 granddaughters and a lovely 94-year-old mother, she enjoys traveling, camping, gardening, crafting, and curling up with a good book.
Nurse Lindsey was born and raised in Southern California. She served 4 years in the United States Air Force. Lindsey spent many years taking care of her family and volunteering in the community. When her children went to college she decided to go too. She received her Bachelor Degree in Nursing with honors from Boise State University in December 2011. She is happily married with two adult children. She loves talking to parents about questions they have and is daily so thankful for the opportunity to work with children. Lindsey was a long time school volunteer when her children were growing up. Luckily Lindsey’s daughter is a teacher and she gets to volunteer weekly in her classroom. She has a love for travel, jogging and walking with her dogs, backpacking, camping, fishing and hanging out with friends.
Nurse Tara is originally from a small town in Illinois and has always loved the mountain west. When everything fell into place in 2014, she and her family came to Idaho and have taken full advantage of the exciting and beautiful things the Boise area has to offer. She has a bachelor’s degree in Art, and in 2007 earned a second bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Illinois State University. Although she still loves art, she feels fulfilled working as a nurse and especially loves the personal interactions with her patients. Tara is married and has three entertaining boys. In her spare time, she loves to hike, bike the Greenbelt, people watch, sing karaoke, take naps, make soup, listen to music, go on expeditions with the Idaho Gem Club, and spend time with her friends and family.
