Robert E. Lindsay, MD opened Ada Pediatrics over 30 years ago with the intention of creating the best pediatric practice in Boise. He was named the Best Pediatrician in “Best of Treasure Valley” in 2014 and considers himself Boise’s #1 BSU Bronco’s fan!
A native of Northern Indiana and a graduate from Purdue and then Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Bob finished his residency training in Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University. He is board certified in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Ryan Lindsay, DO is happy to run the family business with his dad, Dr. Bob. A native of Boise, Dr. Ryan is a proud alumnus of Boise High, Boise State and Midwestern University/Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is also a trained paramedic! After completing his pediatric training at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2012, he became Board Certified in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and is now a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Ryan has competed in countless running races and triathlons. He’s proud to still hold the Boise Elementary School City Track Meet mile record of 5:20 – set in 1992! He and his wife Laura (an anesthesiologist at St. Luke’s) love raising 3 cute cats named Nash, Winter and Polaris and a border collie named Mouse.
Mauri Evans, Receptionist
Mauri Evans was born in San Diego, CA and raised in Boise, ID. She graduated from Capital High School
in 1992. She attended ITT Technical Institute and graduated from the Medical Secretarial Program with
honors in 1997. Mauri has worked for several years in medical offices handling the front desk and back
office by scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling transcription and medical records.
She took eight years off to manage a refinishing company that she and her husband owned. Mauri has
two children, a new son-in-law as of September 2018, and two dogs. She enjoys spending her free time
with her family camping, fly fishing, and vacationing on the Oregon coast.
Amy Poe, Receptionist
Amy has enjoyed being a receptionist at Ada Pediatrics for since the spring of 2013. The friendly parents
and children she meets every day keep a smile on her face. She has a husband, Marc, and she loves
being a mom to her terrific (mostly) grown boys Aiden and Keaton. The family lives in the mountains up
past the foothills with the deer, elk and turkeys. She also enjoys many of the activities the valley has to
offer including skiing, boating, water park and downtown fun. Camping in the summer near the river in
Featherville is also a favorite destination.
Kristen Allen, Medical Assistant, NCMA
Kristen was born and raised in Southern California where she graduated from Mojave River Academy
with a 4.0 grade point average. She attended San Joaquin Valley college, and received her Medical
assistant Certificate. She was assigned to Extern in an urgent care where she enjoyed assisting in minor
procedures. She moved to Boise in 2017, was hired at Ada Pediatrics, and welcomed her son Bentley
James in May of that year. Their life together is loads of fun! Kristen enjoys riding her bike on the Boise
Green Belt, camping in the mountains, and spending quality time with her family. Kristen feels strongly
about caring for others and strives to fulfill her calling in life – “Always stay humble and kind.”
Ashley Floyd, Medical Assistant, CMA-AAMA
Ashley was born in Glendale, Arizona. She moved to a small area north of Boise called Robie Creek
when she was 11 years old. Shortly after graduating from Idaho City High School, she started her
rewarding career as a Certified Medical Assistant. Ashley has two daughters, Lillian and Sadie, and one
son, Nickolai who keep her very busy! She was lucky enough to take some time and stay home with
them before joining Ada Pediatrics in January of 2018. She is very excited to be back at work and
thankful to be part of the Ada Pediatrics family. In her spare time, she enjoys various family activities:
camping; road trips; and volunteering at her daughter’s school.
Amy Ahn, RN
Amy was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from Western Michigan University
with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. From there, she has been working as a cardiac nurse in acute care
settings for the past 8 years at hospitals in the Portland metro area. She moved to the Treasure Valley in
the fall of 2018 when her husband began medical school at Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. Amy
has always had a passion for working with children and is excited to begin working at Ada Pediatrics. In
her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their energetic 3-year old son. They are
is expecting a daughter in the summer of 2019. Amy is looking forward to getting to know everyone and
hopes that all patients feel welcome at Ada Pediatrics.
Diane Harper, RN
Diane Harper received her RN license in California where her work experience included NICU, material
and home health nursing. She moved to the Boise area with her family in June of 2005. She and her
husband, Kevin, are foster and adoptive parents who recruit and mentor new foster parents throughout
the Treasure Valley. Diane’s favorite think is hanging out with her husband and 7 children but she also
enjoys camping, hiking, a good book, coffee, chocolate and chai tea. She loves being a part of the Ada
Stephanie Scott, RN
Stephanie Scott RN has been an RN for 11 years and was a Medical Assistant for 10 years. She was born
and raised in Salt Lake City UT. She moved to Vale, OR in high school where she met her best friend and
love of her life Justin. After his years of service in the armed forces they settled in the Treasure Valley in
2000. They have been married for 22 years and have 1 son. Stephanie has a passion for patient care and
enjoys spending time with her family, and anything outdoors.
Kate Jett, LPN
Kate moved to Boise with her loving fiancé, Robert, in the summer of 2017 all the way from Virginia,
where she was born and raised. Kate became an LPN at the age of 19. She loves children and has been
working in pediatrics since 2014. She has two fur babies, Jamie and Kody, that she and Robert have
raised and love to pieces. Kate loves going on spontaneous adventures where she can experience new
places and meet new people!
Heidi Sorenson, LPN
Heidi has been an LPN for 2 years. She has worked in geriatrics and pediatrics. She loves working with
people. Heidi is an Idaho native and grew up in Meridian. She is lucky enough to be married to her best
friend and they welcomed a beautiful baby boy In February 2018.
